SERVICES

Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech Language Pathology (SLP) often address eating and swallowing difficulties such as aspiration and choking for residents in the skilled nursing community setting. Due to the acute nature of this problem, Quality Rehabilitation Services has the ability to have SLP available seven days per week. This presence clearly underscores our exceptional level of commitment to our communities and their residents.

Our premier team has a ratio of 2:1 therapists to assistants. Our team has established a history of evaluating and treating the patients and residents at our communities in an extremely timely manner while staffing to maximize patient’s ability to fully participate in their course of rehabilitation. We have achieved a track record of allowing our communities to benefit from an optimal RUGs mix reimbursement rate under MDS 3.0. Quality Rehabilitation Services achieves this by offering six-day per week therapy and seven day per week coverage as appropriate. This approach allows our patients and communities to benefit from the highest suitable Resource Utilization Group, “RUG” category in an ethical and appropriate manner.
